​The factory is located on the foothill of aberdare ridges and overlooking the Mount Kenya which has the best red volcanic soil rich in organic matters
 The coffee grown in the region is SL 28 and SL 34.Main harvest from October to December
 There is anticipated growth in production in this region as farmers are planting coffee as a new way of diversifying their business by mixing Batian which is less prone to diseases .
 The coffee is washed and then sun dried before taken to a dry mill
